Wythenshawe Town FC Timpson Rd Baguley Wythenshawe M23 9RT 0161 283 1504 Formed in 1946, and playing at Hough End Fields on Princess Road, Withington, Wythenshawe Town was originally known as North Withington FC. Re-named in 1987 after a few seasons at their new ground in Wythenshawe which was named Ericstan Park as a tribute to Eric Reynard and Stan Orme who were prime movers in the club's early days. After a long period in the Lancashire and Cheshire League the club joined the Manchester League in 1974. The Wythenshawe Town Football Club senior section now has two teams in the Manchester League and one in the Wythenshawe Sunday League. WYTHENSHAWE JUNIORS F.C. Operate a large number of teams, boys and girls, from the ages of 8 to 16.
Wythenshawe Amateurs Longley Lane Northenden Manchester M22 4JF 07968 845882 Originally founded as Wythenshawe Lads Club in 1946, Wythenshawe Amateurs FC was established four years later to provide football for all ages. Wythenshawe is one of the oldest and most successful amateur football teams in the North West. In 1956 Wythenshawe played Manchester United, including Bobby Charlton and Bill Foulkes, in the Whittaker Cup Final. Planning permission has been granted to build a 120 seater floodlit stadium in Hollyhedge Park. The Junior section, formed in 1960, is now one of the largest in the North West, currently having teams aged 5 to 21, both girls and boys, each and every season it provides players for the inter league teams and has regular trophy winning teams. The 1st team have never been relegated in it's long history.
Wythenshawe Sports Ground Willenhall Road Northern Moor Wythenshawe M23 0BD 0161 306 9973 One of the largest grass areas in the UK which is solely dedicated to football. You will find 26 full-size outdoor pitches and 1 rugby pitch on this huge 90 acre grass area, which you can hire for both sports and non-sports related events. The ground has been host to a number of major international football festivals, tournaments and other sports events such as Softball and Ultimate Frisbee.

We have over 180 adapted bikes and we are confident that anyone can ride a bike regardless of their ability. We offer sessions throughout the week that are open to the public, catering for cyclists of all abilities." Wythenshawe Ravens Netball Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre Portway Wythenshawe Manchester M22 1QW The club is an open club for Ladies wishing to get back into playing netball. Since 2010, over 30,000 women have started playing netball again through an award winning Back to Netball programme. Sessions provide a gentle re-introduction to the game for women over sixteen and are led by qualified coaches. You can just turn up, sessions are pay and play, and you can expect to cover basic skills like passing and footwork and even play in a fun match. Whether it is about rediscovering sporting abilities you forgot you had or about getting active again, Back to Netball caters for all abilities and giggles are guaranteed.

Winston Runners Based in Wythenshawe, Manchester, Winston Runners are a running club of mixed age and ability (from beginners to experienced athletes), for runners aged 16+. The club's main training session is held at the track in Wythenshawe park on a Tuesday, with other runs taking place on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. For more details, take a look at the training page. For those who are a little more competitive, they encourage runners to represent the club in local, national and international races. Baguley Athletic “We provide recreational and competitive football for the community of Baguley and the surrounding areas to promote healthy and active lifestyles from the age of 14 years old and up. We are always looking at new ways to move our club forward and are very flexible in our approach to youth development. The Club currently includes TWO adult squads competing in local leagues affiliated to both Manchester and Cheshire FAs.  Future expansion plans will create a new Development Squad, that will become a much needed link between our youth and adult programs.
