The Wythenshawe Games 2016

Now in its fifth year, Wythenshawe Games is Manchester’s largest community sports festival, taking in and around Wythenshawe and centering on the beautiful and historic Wythenshawe Park and Hall. Tickets On Sale Now!

Tickets are on sale now for the forthcoming production of Annie Jr!  They cost just £3.00 each are available from the Student Desk during form time, breaks, dinner and after school. Students and staff are currently hard at work with rehearsals, and it promises to be a great show!  Performances will be on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th July at 7pm in the Assembly Hall at Manchester Health Academy.

Gatley Festival

Would like to hear from more local groups, particularly harder to reach communities, faith groups, other organisations and businesses to join our "One World " carnival Parade Sunday 3rd July, we want to celebrate the diversity, heritage, culture and respect within our community. It promises to be vibrant, colourful and exciting, with Gatley getting into the carnival mood!

The booming heart of the garden borough is thriving, with just three empty units and around 125,000 shoppers visiting every week. Last year, the district’s shopping area was visited by 6.4m people - up 200,000 on the previous year - and it’s expected to hit 6.5m this year. More from the M.E.N.
